Grammar Post

When to use exclamation points. Sometimes called the exlamation mark it is used at the end of a sentence or interjection to show strong emotion or emphasis.

Some examples are:

Exclamatory sentence; The rain didn't stop for four days!

Command; Be back by 10:30 or else!

Interjection; Wow!

These three different sentences use the exclamation mark/point to show the power of the sentence.
